I am back at my office only today, I got already plenty of messages and problems to fix.
I am starting to think that I should return where I was for my vacations !

Live Free and Die Hard - French first day Box Office

Our big opening day in France is not during the week-end but on wednesday, because, in general, kids do not have school.
So yesterday, it was the first day for Die Hard and it was a success ! 50 000 viewers in Paris/Suburban, more than 200 000 viewers for the rest of France.
It is a very nice opening, less than Spiderman 3 (175 000) but more than Ocean's 13 (35 000).
And for the readers who are wondering why we do not calculate the film's result with money but with the viewers, maybe it is because for Americans it is a business and for French it is an art !

Live Free and Die Hard - Cyril Raffaelli in NYC for the preview

Big week for Cyril with the preview of Die Hard in New York, it was the occasion for him to see again all the cast but also the director Len Wiseman (Underworld). It is because Len saw the french movie District B13 with Cyril that he wanted to work with this french guy who was jumping everywhere like Spiderman without a web !
I hope they will work again on a great project, wait & see...

One Hour photo

How to pick up good pictures when you are an actor, this is THE question ?
The answer is very simple, take the natural one !
Do not try to look like Hale Berry if you are Queen Latifah or conversely (but in this case, it would be dumb).
Indeed, the photo must be the origin of the meeting but if it does not resemble to you, everyone will have wasted its time, the agent, the director of casting and especially, you !
Color or black and white ? it depends, if you are blond with blue eye you better use the colour.
Also prefer face s picture has those of profiles so that the shape of your face is seen. Finally for you Ladies (and Mister?) no jewels, pendantifs or others…
Above, it is  one of my actors, Vincent PRIMAULT, ENORMOUS theatre s actor, it also took part in a TV show, “the slides of Showbiz”, he was playing an agent !

The Kid Stay In The Picture

As, Coluche, a french comedian, said when he was talking about Law School "Five year straight, zig zag the rest of your life" he was right, I am a Talent Agent now.
We cannot say that it was a vocation, I never said to my parents "When I will be old, I will be a Talent Agent !" but I wanted to work in the motion Picture industry so after looking in production business, where it was dead as Disco, I had the idea to propose my service as a Literary Agent then the Agency where I am, propose to me to take care of Actors also.
So here I am, a complete Talent Agent (Writer, Director, Actor).
This blog exist because I want to share my passion for movies, and a lot of other stuff, but also give some information about this business.
