Our big opening day in France is not during the week-end but on wednesday, because, in general, kids do not have school.
So yesterday, it was the first day for Die Hard and it was a success ! 50 000 viewers in Paris/Suburban, more than 200 000 viewers for the rest of France.
It is a very nice opening, less than Spiderman 3 (175 000) but more than Ocean's 13 (35 000).
And for the readers who are wondering why we do not calculate the film's result with money but with the viewers, maybe it is because for Americans it is a business and for French it is an art !
